IP & Competition Law Central

My name is Esther, and I am an intellectual property (IP) and Antitrust/ Competition Law researcher. I hold an LL.M in IP and Competition law from the Munich Intellectual Property Law Centre, Germany. I was called to the Ghana Bar in 2015 and have been practicing law ever since as a litigation lawyer as well as a commercial and investment law consultant. I am currently the Managing Associate at , Landmark Legala boutique law firm in Ghana which specializes in corporate compliance advisory services as well as consultancy on tax, energy and investment matters. I also work as a corporate secretary affiliated with Landmark Legal’s wholly owned subsidiary, Landmark Trustees and Corporate Services.

I started IPCLC to share my thoughts and research on IP and Competition laws in general, but with special focus on the Ghanaian jurisdiction. I hope that my research, and the input of the rest of the team, will help bring about legal and policy reform in the IP and Competition law space in Ghana and the other jurisdictions we will cover.
